Product description:

When we repair computers (more mainboards). If the fault is suspected to be caused by the CPU, you must use the CPU false load maintenance tool. If we suspect that the CPU is faulty, we cannot take a real CPU to the CPU socket on the computer motherboard to test, because it is easy to burn the CPU, after all, maintenance is risky. Moreover, without knowing the exact fault. Then the false CPU load can be used to replace the real CPU for fault testing.

It is mainly used to measure whether each point and voltage of the CPU are normal, and then the CPU can be installed. Its working principle is to manage the output size of the CPU power supply by connecting the VID0-VID4 of the CPU and controlling the high and low levels of the VID0-VID4 of the power IC

First of all, prepare the digital multimeter - the test work depends on it (about the "Use Method of Digital Multimeter")

1. Test whether the core voltage on the dummy load is normal.

2. Test whether the reset [RESET #] on the dummy load is normal.

3. Check whether the clock on the dummy load is normal. (Use an oscilloscope to measure whether the clock on the dummy load has waves, and if there are waves, it means normal)

4. Measure whether the PG signal voltage on the dummy load is normal.

5. Measure whether the 1V reference voltage on the dummy load is normal.

6. Measure whether there are three waves in the lower tube C of the core power supply on the motherboard (measure the lower tube C with an oscilloscope to see whether there are three waves. Refer to the core power supply)
